What is Medical Summarization

The Diploma Program in Medical Scribing
- The DPMS program consists of 826 hours.
- Students will be expected to maintain 86% attendance.
- Students will be required to attend all Periodic Assessment Tests (PAT).
- The Certification Test (C-Test) will be the final evaluation at this level.
- Following the Model C-Test, students will be eligible to attempt the C-Test, with a maximum of four attempts allowed within a 200-day period from their first attempt.
- Failure to achieve the required score on the C-Test to progress to the ADPMS program will typically mean students must retake the entire suite of subjects in their next attempt.
Advanced Diploma Program in Medical Scribing
- Admission into the program will depend on students achieving the required scores on the C-Test.
- If a student does not begin their training within ten days after completing all necessary procedures, SCI may require a retake of the C-Test for program eligibility.
- The training period for this program will typically range from three to six months and includes a tuition-free phase.
- After the first successful month of training, students may receive a monthly stipend of up to INR 15,000.
- Upon successful completion of the ADPMS program, every student will be offered placement as a Doctor Ready MS (probationary). Following the successful completion of this probationary period, they will be employed as a Doctor-Approved Medical Scribe Specialist or Medical Scribe, with a starting salary of up to Rs. 40,000 per month, contingent on Client Doctor availability.
